1. Information We Collect
Lost Tribe Ministries ("we", "us", or "our") collects information you provide directly to us when you create an account, including your name, email address, and any profile details you choose to add. We also collect information about your activity on our platform, such as Bible reading progress, study notes, organizer entries, quiz results, and community interactions. This data is stored securely and associated with your user account.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve our services, including personalizing your Bible study experience, tracking your academic progress, sending you notifications about assignments and announcements, and communicating with you about your ministry enrollment. We may also use aggregated, non-identifiable data for analytics to improve our platform and educational content.
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with service providers who help us operate our platform (such as payment processing and email delivery), and only as necessary to provide those services. All ministry agent conversations and counseling sessions are kept confidential and are accessible only to you and authorized ministry staff for oversight purposes.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission, secure authentication, and role-based access controls. Student academic records (grades, attendance, submissions) are protected by row-level security policies that ensure only the student, their teachers, and administrators can access them.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time through your profile settings. You may also request export of your data or permanent account deletion by contacting us. If you are a parent or guardian of a student under 18, you have the right to review and manage your child's data and consent to its collection.
6. Children's Privacy
Our Academy serves students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. For students under 18, we require parental consent during enrollment and provide parents with access to their child's academic information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without verified parental consent.
7. Cookies & Local Storage
We use local storage to save your Bible reading position, audio playback progress, theme preferences, and study notes for seamless access across sessions. This data is stored on your device and is not shared with third parties.
8. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, please contact us through our Contact page or reach out to an administrator through the in-app messaging system.
